Founded in 2009, the California Black Health Network has been working tirelessly to address the health disparities that continue to impact Black communities throughout the state. Our organization is committed to advocating for policies and programs that promote health equity, as well as educating and empowering individuals to take charge of their own health.

What is Big Day of Giving?
Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour celebration of giving to the causes that matter to you and your loved ones. It is an opportunity for donors like yourself to show your support and partnership and give to CBHN in a safe, easy, and secure way.
Why Give to CBHN?
This year, CBHN celebrates 40 years as a nonprofit and as being the voice and trusted resource for improving the health and well-being of the Black community in California. CBHN is the only Black-led, statewide organization dedicated to advancing health equity for all African Americans and Black Immigrants.
When you give on Big Day of Giving, you not only give to CBHN, you also give to the goal of achieving health equity for Black Californians. You also help ensure that all Black Californians, regardless of their education, socio-economic class, zip code, sexual orientation, gender identity, homelessness, or immigration status have access to high-quality and equitable primary and behavioral healthcare and avoid unnecessarily succumbing to disease.
How do I Give to CBHN on Big Day of Giving?
It’s easy! You can give at any time and especially on Thursday, May 4, 2023, by visiting https://www.bigdayofgiving.org/organization/CBHN. The minimum donation is $15, and all major credit cards are accepted. In addition to giving, we encourage you to spread the word and encourage others to give back.
With your help, we can reach our goal of raising $40,000 that will go directly to improving the health equity for all African Americans and Black Immigrants in California.
